How to Earn Bonds in WoT

In my previous article, I focused on where the new additions from Update 2.1.1, such as the STK-2, have their weaknesses. I also turned my attention to the tempting pieces that have been added to the bond shop. In the initial January update, the selection unexpectedly expanded by five interesting machines. However, for these newcomers to become part of your garage, you need thousands of bonds – and that is exactly what I will focus on today. If you aren’t one of those who have a pile of bonds saved up, a few tips for acquiring them faster will certainly come in handy.

Saving for new premium vehicles in Bond shop like the Char Mle. 75 or Somua SM can look like an endless marathon at first glance. With the arrival of Update 2.1.1 and the introduction of Tier XI tanks, however, new ways to secure this rare currency faster than ever before have opened up in 2026. Here is the current strategy to maximize your bond income.

Daily Missions and Premium Account

Daily missions are the basis for a regular bond income. Especially if you have a WoT premium account, you can earn a pleasant amount of bonds every day. One of the three daily missions often offers at least 25 bonds. The bonus mission, available after completing the three basic ones, can bring another 25 bonds.

The same applies to the three premium missions. You can also get a hefty reward after completing forty-five daily missions. Usually, another 100 bonds will be added to your account.

Tier IX, X and XI Battles

Battles with Xs remain a traditional source of this special currency, now joined by the newcomers of Tier XI. Each Tier X and XI tank has its own limit of 100 bonds per week, which you collect for performance in random battles. Don´t forget that you can earn bonds with premium IX vehicles as well.

If you rank among the top three players of your team by experience earned, you receive 7 bonds for a victory and 5 bonds for a defeat or draw.

When you finish within the top ten, you receive 5 bonds for a victory and 3 bonds for a defeat or draw.

If you want to “farm” bonds efficiently, I recommend alternating between multiple tens (or elevens) as soon as you reach the limit with one, rather than playing with the same machine all the time.

Don’t forget that for medals like Warrior, High Caliber, or for epic achievements like the Kolobanov’s Medal, you earn bonus bonds regardless of the tank’s tier.

Battle Pass

The Battle Pass remains the most attractive source for the general public even in 2026. Bonds are scattered throughout both the free and paid parts of the stages. The key is to complete all three main chapters, which unlocks the Elite Circuit, an endless cyclical progression with five phases.

There, you can directly exchange points collected from the Battle Pass for additional bonds in the in-game shop. For active players, this is the most common way to get the last few hundred bonds, for example, to purchase a dream tank.

Onslaught Crimson Dragon

Season of the Crimson Dragon Currently, the most profitable activity is the competitive Onslaught mode. Unlike random battles, you earn bonds here not only for progressing through ranks, but also for completing weekly missions specific to this mode.

If you manage to reach the Silver rank, you will receive a one-time reward of 1,000 bonds at the end of the season on February 23, 2026. Furthermore, throughout the Crimson Dragon season, you can complete missions that reward you with bonds and other items. By completing 25 missions, you can earn up to 1,500 bonds by the end of the season.

Clan Activities and Global Map

If you are a member of an active clan, participation in campaigns on the Global Map is another “bond mine”. Even if you don’t place in the positions guaranteeing a reward tank, you earn bonds for every battle and for the clan’s overall placement.

Many players use these events to get an “auction ticket,” which allows them to bid for special tanks exactly with the bonds they have earned. If you are loyal clan player and have all the reward tanks in your garage, you can use them without hesitation for new premiums in the bond shop.

Tip

Saving requires discipline – the key is not to buy trifles like crew directives (definitely not for random battles) and to focus on larger goals. I also don’t recommend frequently changing bond equipment, because each exchange costs 200 bonds. Therefore, I recommend that you consider in advance which tank you want to improve with the best possible equipment.

To remind yourself which tanks are newly available in the bond shop, I recommend my previous article. At the same time, you can also check out the first Battle Pass of this year.
